The Eiffel Tower was not built in a day. This page is under construction, but look forward to updates.
The first four units of instruction emphasize the acquisition of the speaking and listening skills needed for basic communication in French.
The course is designed progressively to build vocabulary and introduce the students to various verbal structures that will enable them to express themselves in French. This will be accomplished through both oral and written exercises in a basic question/answer format. The acquisition of vocabulary and gaining facility in aural comprehension require repetitive rehearsal on the part of the students. As the units progress, more attention is given to correct usage and grammatical accuracy of expression. Self-expression in the following thematic topics is addressed in the first four units: 1. Getting acquainted, 2. Everyday life in Paris, 3. Daily activities, 4. People and possessions.
